Marston’s PLC operate 464 Pubs and Hotels throughout the UK, they are recognised for quality and service.
We were approached to provide an audit of Marston’s town centre operations so that the Head Office marketing team could settle on a Facebook strategy. The challenge was the sheer number of presences across Facebook that had to be audited.
An initial skim search of Facebook using venue names and towns gave us a base list. This was split into types of pages and Likes/Members/Friends, the page address and last interaction dates were recorded. We then conducted a deep search which included looking at profile and group administrator names, events, and customer created content including community and place pages.
A highly detailed report was delivered to the client providing the overview required for Marston’s PLC to implement a corporate Facebook Policy to its managers.
