The Project - 50% Off Email Campaign

The Client: Living Ventures

Living Ventures Ltd operates 17 restaurants under the Gusto and Blackhouse brands, and several other exciting businesses such as Australasia, the Alchemist and the Oast House. The company is reputed to be one of the best restaurant operators in the UK.

The Brief

Deliver an email campaign over Christmas and New Year to drive the January 50% Off Promotion.

The Approach

Working over the festive period, PowerText broadcast over 1.5 million messages split testing subject lines and header content across different customer segments. Following analysis we then targeted broadcasts to the database over a period of two weeks until all the available restaurant slots had been filled.

The Results

Excluding hard and soft bounces the broadcast achieved an 86% delivered rate, 22% open rate and 39% interaction rate resulting in over 41,000 booked covers. The campaign has run in Living Ventures Restaurants for four consecutive years and is their most successful promotion yet.
